The Chairman, Tony Hemmings, trained as a quantity surveyor and has been involved in housebuilding for over 40 years. Tony is joined on the Board by his daughter, Kate, who’s first career was with the Foreign Office. She spent 15 years in the diplomatic service, including stints in New York, Nairobi and London, most recently in the Foreign Secretary’s Private Office.
Aron Cross has recently joined the company as Construction Manager and brings with him a wealth of experience, including several years as a Site Manager for Kings Oak and Senior Site Manager with Laings (George Wimpey South West Thames).
Tony has a keen interest in cricket and is a qualified umpire. He played for Corsham Cricket Club for many years and the name smith kinneir is his tribute to the only two Corsham cricketers to have played for England: Septimus Paul Kinneir and ‘Big’ Jim Smith.
